Silent Crow Publishes Data Stolen from Aeroflot

Members of the Silent Crow group, which claimed responsibility for the late-July cyberattack on Aeroflot, have begun releasing data allegedly stolen from the airline. According to media reports, the leak includes sensitive medical records belonging to pilots and other airline employees.

The attack occurred on July 28, 2025, when Aeroflot was targeted by hacker groups “Cyberpartisans BY” and Silent Crow. The incident caused the cancellation of more than 100 flights.

By July 30, Aeroflot representatives announced that the flight schedule had been fully restored.

Industry experts estimate that Aeroflot’s losses from the first day alone could exceed 250 million rubles. When factoring in IT infrastructure recovery costs, lost revenue from unsold tickets, and the financial impact of canceled flights, total damages could reach several billion rubles.

At the time of the attack, the hackers claimed they would “soon begin publishing a portion of the obtained data.”

Over the weekend, Kommersant reported that Silent Crow had released the first batch of this data. According to the publication, the files contain medical records of pilots and airline staff, including names, dates of birth, height, weight, medical histories, and examination results.

“These are conclusions from medical-flight expert commissions, personal data, medical diagnoses, and information on flight clearance,” the attackers stated.

Journalists reviewing the documents confirmed that the leaked material includes detailed health information and personal identifiers.
